Macro Island

Our decision to pray on Marco Island was part of a prayer initiative instituted by The Battle Axe Brigade under the direction of Diane Buker, founder and President.Judah First has agreed to join hands with other prayer ministries for the purpose of decreeing and seeing the Kingdom come here in our state. Our team personally and corporately prepared for this trip. You can print off a copy of our prayer declarations and view our journey through the posted pictures. The team for this particular trip consisted of four people: Shirlon Hissom, Karen Simmons, Laurie Gordon and Carolyn Warren. Each of us contributed to the prayer strategy and also used our artistic gifts in recording the events which happened, whether through photography, painting or writing. Every journey is different and exciting. It is a blessing to be a part of what God is doing in our state with regards to the redemption of the land and water ways. Our first stop was marker #5 (in the self guided tour of the Island) This is the site of the Frank Cushing Archealogical dig. It is one of the most significant excavations in North American History. After consecrating the land we prayed for reversal of curses. It was impressed upon us to place the Cornerstone, Christ Jesus in the Lei lines of evil that are running into the land. We declared Marco Island holy ground unto the Lord. Along with our prepared scripture references, we read Psalm 89 in its entirety as an act of worship. We decreed the exposing of the schemes of the demonic three fold cord be revealed and that the land return to its original intent. We decreed that the Light of God be released into this place where treasures were stolen. Second stop was The Kirk Archaeological Site(marker#9)which found us in a residential development. We thought it a very strange place to build homes, considering it was a Calusa Indian burial site. The mount appeared to be reconstructed to a degree partially upon private land. We all sensed a very strong spirit of death and it was obvious to us the connection between the Aztecs and Mayan's human sacrificing rituals and what had occurred on the site. We believed there was a major evil lei line connected to the site. We prayed for a closure to the portal of evil . We worshiped, consecrated the ground with communion and oils and demonstrated the Word of God through prophetic acts. We decreed the Garden of the Lord be released there and where there was blood shed of innocents, that there would be real joy released. (even into the community where this mound is located) The cross streets where this was located were called: Inlet and Oak. We used these two words for the glory of God by decreeing it would be an inlet for the healing waters and the Holy Spirit to come and that the people there would surely be trees of righteousness planted by the waters of the Lord. Carolyn and Laurie both created prophetic pictures concerning this spot. Our last stop was the site of the Calusa Indian Village (marker #13)We all felt this was a very significant gate of entry. It was located near the Gulf near one of the two bridges to the island. We stood in the gate as kings and priests to the Lord and issued many decrees. We consecrated the ground with communion and oils and spoke over the location. The name of the land area was called , "Goodland". We canceled all assignments set against the destiny of the island because of what had been perpetrated there. Repentance and reconciliation was made for all acts of defilement: Idolatry,Fornication,Broken Covenants and Shedding of Innocent Blood.
